Christmas Memories

Christmas is important to me because it reminds me of when I was little. And when I was little I got my first Christmas present. My Christmas present was a Big Brown Spotted white puppy. My top puppy had Big Black eyes and Big floppy ears. And every night I would cuddle up with it to fall asleep. Every morning I would try to say “good morning,” to it. And I named it an adorable name whitch was Elf. I named it Elf because elves work hard to make topys and my puppy is a toy so I named it Elf. Elf was always siting on my bed except when I would take it out for Breakfast, lunch, dinner and to watch TV. Christmas is also very important to me because Jesus was born on Christmas eve. And Jesus is very, very, very, important because Jesus is the son of God and He is known for His kindness, generosity, and for miracles. Some miracles saved people’s lives and gave thousands of people food to eat like bread bread, fish and more. Jesus also helped men fish for more and more food. The reasons for miracles is to show us eternal life. And Christmas is one of my favourite holidays of the year.

Christmas is outstanding to me. This is one of my Christmas stories. When I was about 4 my mother put reindeer food on the front porch. Juliana! C. J.! It’s time for bed. “OK mommy,” “Good night,” said my mom and dad. I said “Good night back.” “I think I am going to have a good dream tonight,” I said. Wow! I can’t believe I just dreamed about twinkletoes the elf, and Santa, and I was talking to Santa at his work shop. “C. J., Juliana come quickly,” said my mother. “Yes, mommy,” I said. “Look outside. Are those footprints?” “So you are saying reindeer walk up our porch. “Yeah,” said my mom. “Wow!” I said. What Christmas Means

Christmas, Christmas, Lots of things to love. The Presents, the saviour, everything but mostly our saviour Jesus and this is how the story goes.

One day Gbriel an angle, sent by God came to Mary and said you will have a baby you will give him the name Jesus. He will make many miracles and Mary said “Yes I will.” The next night Gabriel came to Joseph in his dreams and said do not be afraid to have mary as your wife And then they got married and they looked everywhere for a place to stay. But all they could fid was a stable and that was where Jesus was born. Then the star came into the sky and then the wise men came to Jesus gold, frankincense and myrrh and that was how Jesus was born!

Here is one my Christmas Storys! Two years ago I went to my Papa’s hous for Christmas. We slept over and I got a poster of a Wii and the money for a Wii. And that is my Christmas memory. Good bye! The end.

Christmas Memories

Do you want to know all about my Christmas memories? Well I guess I should. After all Christmas is the most important celebration ever! Want to know why? Because in Christmas the son of god Jesus is born. When Jesus is born, we all celebrate Christmas. Anyway I’ll tell you about my memories.

In my first Christmas we celebrated with some chicken and turkey. Everybody in my family thought I was cute. And my mom said I really was.

On my second Christmas my grandparents came to my house. We invited my cousins, my aunts and uncles. On my third Christmas we didn’t have chick or turkey we had grill! We had sausages ribs and specially beef!

On my fourth Christmas we went to a restaurant called fondue.

Christmas is a time to think about when Jesus was born. Christmas means a lot to people. It is Jesus’ birthday on Christmas. That is why Christmas is so important. It is when Christ came into this world. Christmas isn’t just about Santa Claus. It is also about God and Jesus. When Gabriel visited Mary, he told her that when she will marry Joseph, she will name her child Jesus. After Gabriel left, Mary was happy and also worried. She was worried because she will be giving birth to the Son of God. Gabriel told Joseph the same thing. When Jesus arrived at Bathlehem, He was given gold. Myrrh, and frankincense from the 3 wise men. Some shepherds even came to see Jesus. Christmas is a very special time to me. Now I would like to talk about what some of the Christmas things represent. The Christmas tree represents Eternal Life. The candy can represents the shepherds cane. The wreath represents everlasting love. The angel represents when Jesus was born. The gold, myrrh and frankincense represent the 3 wise men. And finall the Christmas lights represent the light of the world. This is what Christmas means to me.

Christmas Memories

The wind blowing! The snow falling! It is Christmas! I think Christmas is all about family and Jesus. That why I all ways have all of my family over on Christmas. When I’m with my Oma and Opa we go to church and pray. They we would have a big feast. Then we read the story about Jesus when we was born and how everybody went quickly when they all saw the star. I was very cool!

When I’m with my grandma Lockren we… go bowling, watch movie or go mini golf. All of those things are fun! So I don’t mined what we do each Christmas.

When I’m with my grandma Dowle we play a lot of board games. We also talk and read about Santa and Jesus. I have a busy Christmas. But its fun! Christmas is one of the biggest times of the year for my family. Oh. Yeh! I all most forgot about Presents! Everybody loves getting and giving presents. What I love about giving presents is the smiles and excitement on their faces when they open their presents. Also another part about Christmas that I like is all the Christmas carols. There all so Jolly and happy.

It’s Christmas

Christmas is an amazing time! The decorating, the snow, and of course the presents. But there is more to Christmas than receiving. There is giving and the fact that Jesus was born on that day. My favourite parts of Christmas day are seeing the expressions on family members’ faces when they open gifts, decorating the house, the Christmas movies, and spending time with your family. On December 25th you wake up early in the morning and shake your family until they wake up, or they wake you up. Then you rush down stairs to give your gifts to others and receive your own gifts. Jesus also received gifts from the three wise men when he was born in the manger. The gifts were myrth, frankincense and gold. One day God sent an angel name Gabriel to tell Mary and Joseph that they were going to have a baby, they were to name him Jesus, and that Jesus was the son of God. Then Mary and Joseph had Jesus and that was when Jesus received the gifts from the wise men when they followed a very bright star.

On Christmas something else happens, Santa comes! He goes down every chimney on Christmas Eve and gives you presents. A lot of things happen during Christmas! And like I said Christmas is an amazing time!

Hi I’m Emma Webster and I am in grade four. I am going to tell you what Christmas meens to me.

My Family My family is the second most important thing about Christmas. On Christmas I always visit family and friends, give presents out, say Merry Christmas and leave. We go to my nanny and pappas for a Christmas feast which usually contains stuffing, pork, turkey and best of all Christmas Icecream cake fild with chocolate fudge. I would die for it.

The family of Jesus Jesuses family is a family of four although God, Jesuses father is not seen at all. Jesus is the most important thing of Christmas. As you see Christmas is made of two words Christ and mas both words of the lord. Christ is another word for Jesus. Mas is another word for a clas at church. Christmas is important to me because of Jesus’es birthday. I think Christmas is about Joy and spending time with family and friends. Its not all about the presents.

Jesus was born in a stable with lot’s of animals. The night Jesus was born there was a Big Bright shining star above the stable. Mary was very happy and Jesus is now king.

My favourite thing to do a Christmas time is decorate my tree because of all the diffrerent things we put on the tree. I also like when we decorate the house because of all the diffrerent things we put round the house. This year I asked Santa for Pixo’s, Crystle mining, the highschool musical CD, a digitalcamera and a webkinz. That is what I would like for Christmas. I love doing Christmas art with my family and friends. I also love to watch Christmas movies with my family and friends. Christmas is one of my favourite holidays.

Hi I’m Eric Beattie, Christmas is one of my favourite holidays not just because Jesus was born but because you get to see your realatives, like my cousins Samantha and David. Fall all those kids that are being naughty you still have a chance. You know what the song says? “He knows if yove been bad or good” better be good and you better watch out, because Santas comeing. And for all you good nice kids out there, Great Job!! And for all you hard working parents, don’t worrey its almos the holidays. Christmas is the best season ever.

The snow is beautiful family tradition, throw are cats in a giant snow pile and they would dig all the way to the neighbors back yeard. Then we have to catch them. It is my brother Liam’s birthday on the 17 of December, he’s turning 6 years old.

Christmas is not about getting gifts. It’s about Jesus and how he was born on the very night. Jesus came to forgive our sins. People give gifts to be nice to other people because God wants peace in the world. That’s what Santa’s job is.

The Christmas tree is a very important part of Christmas because it represents eternal life. Jesus also gave people who believed in Him eternal life. The wreath represents God’s ever-lasting love. The angel or star on top of a tree represent the star and angels that were watching over the stable in Bethelehem. The gifts represent the gifts that the 3 wisemen gave Jesus, the gifts were gold, frankincense and myrhh.

The story of Jesus begins when an angel named Gabriel came down to Mary and told her that sh was going to have a baby that was God’s son and name it Jesus. At first May was worried but then she accepted it. Then Gabriel went to Joseph in a dream and told him what was going to happen. After they got married they went to Bethelehem. Joseph walked while Mary rode a donkey. Once they got to Bethelehem there was no place for them in the hotels so they went to a stable. Then 3 wise men came and gave Jesus gifts. The End.

Christmas Memories

Christmas is about giving and kindness. Christmas is about Jesus, Mary and Joseph. It is also fun because everyone gets presents. When my dad was little, growing up in Hungary, there was a special tradition on Christmas Eve. Children were waiting with an open window in their living room. In the evening Jesus and two angels would come in with a decorated Christmas tree, with a few presents underneath it. My dad would always try to see Jesus and the

angels, but he would always miss them. When my mom was little, there were no presents for Christmas, only the celebration of Jesus’ birthday. On Dec. 6th they would have St. Nicholas day. Children would put their boot on the window ledge and if they were good St. Nicholas would leave a good bag, with fruits and treats in it. If they were not good they would get a golden whip. Every Christmas my friends and I make a play about Jesus’ birth and the star. Christmas is about giving, loving, and having a great time. It is about miracles. Remember, Jesus and Santa Claus are watching you, so always be on your best behaviour.

Christmas Memories

Christmas is all about getting toys giving toys to others. receiving toys from others, and lots of Christmas carols, and decorating your house to prepare for Christ, who is Jesus, the son of God. We also celebrate Christmas because of the birth of Jesus. We go to church to celebrate this season. It is called Advent. We are at the second candle of Advent of the wreath of Advent. When we get to the fourth candle, which is the pink candle it is christmas/ the birth of Jesus Christ. That we celebrate in Church. Now to tell you about our classroom at st. Matthew’s. We are going to make gingerbread houses. Just for $ 10.00! We are also going to make some stables probably only if we don’t make a mess with the paint. If we do make a mess, we will not be able to use the paint. And we will not make the staple with the Christ in it with Jesus’s mother Mary. We also made Wither Wonderland themes. We even put a Santa Claus on top of the projector screen. That is all! Zackary. Bye! This is all we did. At our classroom.

What Christmas Means To Me

Christmas is a time for sharing a time to appreciate what God and Jesus have given and have done for you. Christmas is a time to remember those who don’t get any presents or who are homeless on the street. Christmas is not just about Santa Claus and presents you know. Its not about chocolate or toys. Sure its nice every once in a while to get one or two presents. But just remember the sacrafice Jesus made for us so that we could have a happy life. I’m not saying to not celebrate Santa or don’t ask for presents. I’m just saying know its more than just presents and Santa. Another thing that’s in the Christmas spirit is taking the time to sit around a Christmas tree with your family drinking hot chocolate with quiet Christmas music. Other activities that people do to get into the spirit of Christmas is making Christmas crafts, Christmas carolling, and drinking hot chocolate by a camp fire. A lot of the time families get together to celebrate Christmas, like on my street, there’s 4 families who get together for Christmas. We open presents, play games and eat yummy food. Christmas is my favourite time of year.

Christmas is Special

Christmas is special to me because its very fun to decorate the Christmas tree and the excitement of getting presents. And sometimes if you wake up early you can hear the sound of presents being put under the Christmas tree. And plus its always fun to make Christmas cookies especially when Santa doesn’t eat them all. It is fun to play with my sister because she doesn’t work on those days. And my brother because he has to deliver the newspapers and probably pay some for deliver them for him. There’s lot of Christmas specials and movies we can watch. Which is fun because dad won’t be at work, which means popcorn and movies. So that’s how Christmas is fun for me.

Christmas is all about giving and being thankful for all the toys & gifts you get. Christmas stands for Christ-Mas because of Christ. I love Christmas because we get to hang so much beautiful decorations. I love going out for Christmas dinner and going to buy a Christmas tree and then we get to hang stuff on the tree. I also love hanging up lights all around our house and our teacher Mrs. Hoult allowed us to hang up Christmas lights all around the class room it was so fun there are rainbow colour lights and blue. And Aiden K was a santa hat that says on it I am part of Santas team it is funny! What I like about Christmas the most is spending Christmas with my friends. Like Zackary, Aiden K, Ben, Darren, Darren, Luis, Aiden S, and Damian. And what I also like about Christmas is when we do shopping spree. My mom baked cookies for shopping spree and I got to eat the broken ones. I just love Christmas so much!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And I can’t wait till the 25th when we get a lot of presents and toys. And I can’t wait to spend Christmas with my friends.

Why we celebrate Christmas…

1. FAMILY

I love Christmas because it’s a time to spend with family, and Boy do I have a big family . There was one Christmas a couple years back when my whole family was there half I didn’t know. Luckily only my aunt and uncle stayed for the night.

2. JESUS

Jesus is the Son of God and died so that that the world would be peaceful. So at Christmas we celebrate the birth of Jesus.

3. GIVING

Christmas is not only a time to spend with family or celebrate the birth of Jesus but it is a time to Give! Think about the people who don’t get any presents under the tree. And I don’t meen naughty kids but I mean poor kids. And a lot of them don’t even live in houses. In Haiti 5% out of 100% don’t even live in house’s so that means 95% don’t even have a house to sleep in at Christmas.

What Christmas Means To Me

Christmas means a lot to me. Actually it means a lot to everyone. Well, here is my little story about what Christmas means to me!! One thing is when my cousins, aunt and uncle came to visit for Christmas! You might think that this is ordinary, but its not because they came from Windsor! It was a lot of fun!!

The next one is a memory that comes from a long time ago. It was when Mary gave birth to Jesus and let him into this world. It is a great memory.

The third memory is not really about Christmas but it’s a miracle of Jesus. It’s when my nana who lived in Niagara Falls came to see my First Communion. Yes it sounds plain, but it’s not because my nana had cancer. I was SO happy that she came. Another memory is when my grandma and grandpa came up for the Christmas part we have every year. They live in Windsor, so they came a long way. My grandparents NEVER come down for the party so it was nice that they came. I have a lot of good memories but these are my favourites.

Christmas is my favourite special event. I get so excited on Christmas eve that I cant sleep. Santa comes and he leaves presents under the tree!!! I hop I get everything on my list. My Favourite Christmas

My favourite Christmas was last year. I went to sleep at 1:00 am and got up at 5:00 am. I first woke up my brother, then my mom, and dad, but my mom and day will always say, “Open your stockings first,” and that’s what we did. Around 7:00 am my mom and dad got up and went down stairs to open presents. I would always be done first because I would open it, not even look at it and go open the next. We turned it to a channel where it shows a l og burning. One of my presents was a lego ship and I spent the whole day making it.

That was my favourite Christmas.

At Christmas my family and I got my omas and gramp’s house to have Christmas tea. Then we go to my house and have a big snow ball fight with my family. Then we go caraling and throw snowballs at the people. Then we go to my Oma’s house and have supper and gifts. We wake up in the morning an go to church and open our gifts and have breakfast at MacDonald’s. Then we go to a movie. The Birth of Jesus Christ

One day the angel of God came down to tell Mary that she would be having the son of god and that her husband would be Jesus. The king at that time was not happy. So he sent three of his men to see what as going on. They did but didn’t want to return because he would tell them to kill Jesus. Instead they brought him Gold, frankincense and myrrh. He was born in a stable with shepherds, lambs, horses, a cow and a donkey with is parents surrounding baby Jesus was born. The King eventually found out about it and demanded to kill him by crucifision. But Jesus kept strong and He did die but Jesus was know for his miracles, and his teaching about Religion which still goes on thoroughout the world.

He was the son of god. Some people hated Jesus but that didn’t stop him from teaching. Later he became a life saver. He save somebody’s life by putting his hand on his chest and saying “get up boy.”

There are a lot of other miracles but I don’t think you’ll want to hear them so I’ll just say Jesus is the son of God. Good Bye The End.

Christmas in Vancouver

I would go get a real tree and decorete it and make home made ginger bread Houses. My brother and I have an annual snow ball fight. Last year James and I ran down stairs as fast as we can and made breakfast for my parents

so they would get the best Christmas ever. Now back t James and me opened the biggest and went down and the snow and put up the Christmas lights. Jesus was born on the first Christmas. What Does Christmas Mean to Me?

Christmas means...

1. Family

I have a big, big family, I have 1 sister and 2 brothers. When I was 7 I had a big Christmas party. I saw uncles, auntys, cousins and people I didn’t even know I was related to. I was shy but at the same time happy to celebrate Christmas with my family or should I say big, big family.

2. Jesus

A long time ago in Bethleham Jesus was born, and best of all on Christmas!!! So now people celebrate all over the world. People celebtare Christmas, or even Hanukha!

3. Giving

At Christmas people give gifts. Every Christmas until I was 6 we did secret Santa. This is how you do it in Calgery... (were I am from)

Step 1 Frind out how many people are doing the secret Santa Step 2-Double the numbers and buy that many gifts

Step 3-You should have 2 Christmas trees, put them both up on ether side of the room.

Step 4-Put half of the fits that are wrapped under the tree and the other half that are not wrapped under the other tree.

Step 5-Each person should be abe to pu their name on sticky not paper and put it in a hat

Step 6-Then let each person pick a name from the hat and pick that person a gift from one of the trees.

Step 7-Then extange gifts and open them

Step 8-Last if the person does not like their gift they can pick a different gift from the other tree. (That are not wrapped)
