Thieves steal three candelabras

Halton Regional Police are investigating a $300,000 residential break-in in Oakville on Nov. 4.

Sometime between 2-10 p. m. a Chancery Lane home was broken into via a side window.

Once inside, the thieves spray painted various furniture and clothing items.

They also stole four unique and expensive silver dinnerware items.

These items are described as a Georg Jensen silver “fish” shaped platter and lid and three Georg Jensen silver, five-branch candelabras.

Also reported stolen were several credit cards, a large amount of Canadian Tire coupons and undisclosed amount of cash.

Total loss in damage and theft is estimated at more than $300,000.

If you have any information that leads to an arrest in this or any other matter, you may be eligible for a cash reward.
