THAT'S SOME PIG BUTTERED PORK: Local artist Steve Hudak created this life-size, pig butter sculpture for the Canadian National Exhibition in Toronto. The theme of the butter sculpting exhibit this year is 'Wings'. The title of this particular piece of art is If Pigs Could Fly. The CNE runs until Monday, Sept. 1. CLOSING LANES ON THE QEW: A tractor trailer accident on the eastbound QEW, over the Sixteen Mile Creek, closed the highway's two right lanes for several hours shortly after midnight Wednesday. Debris and spill clean up was done and the truck removed. The truck's driver suffered minor injuries. The accident was at the same location as another jackknifed tractor trailer earlier in the summer. Burlington OPP are investigating Wednesday's crash. 202073 NOTHING BUT BLUE SKY

TOWN TRADITION FUN IN THE POOL: Alexandra Straumann does the backstroke at the Town of Oakville's 38th annual Novice Swim Meet held at Brookdale Pool Tuesday.
