Celebrating World Fair Trade Day

On May 10, organizations around the globe will celebrate World Fair Trade Day under the theme Fair Trade Creates Good Climate.

On Saturday, May 10, World Fair Trade Day events will take place in more than 70 countries, as well as across Canada. Throughout the day, Ten Thousand Villages in Oakville plans to welcome customers with product samplings, special discounts and a hands-on kids' program including activities such as a wheel of fortune, fish pond, quiz board that lights up, weaving and ecoart.

Upon arriving at the store, kids will receive a special passport that they will take with them as they follow the footprints through the various activities.

Ten Thousand Villages in Oakville is located downtown at 226 Lakeshore Rd. E.
