In a story called Candlelight Ball kicking in for OTMH, in the Friday, Oct. 19 edition, Ron Southwick was incorrectly identified. He is the co-owner of Murron's Cabinetree.

The upcoming candlelight ball, the premiere fundraising event for the Oakville Trafalgar Hospital Foundation, hopes to raise $500,000 toward the more than $2 million needed to purchase medical equipment this year.

The hospital performs more than 12,000 surgical procedures among hundreds of thousands of medical procedures annually.

The Oakville Beaver regrets any inconvenience caused.
